PJ: Doin’ the same

No major changes to report, today. Her X-ray looks about the same. When I spoke to her night nurse tonight, though, she said that Piper sounded a little better. So hopefully that will be reflected in tomorrow’s X-ray. As can be seen in the photo above, she is looking better. Almost back to normal, puffy-wise. Plus I’m glad that I was able to finally take a good photo of her, since I had a good camera with me today. The B-berry shots just don’t really come out that great.

Reagan and I both go back to work tomorrow. It is going to be tough, not being able to watch over her, when she is laid out like this. We are super grateful to have her at Columbia though, where her nurses all know her and show her so much love, with the way that they care for her. We have been super fortunate at both Columbia and Blythedale to have nurses who take an active interest in Piper’s well-being and care for her the same way that we would, if we could be there the whole time. We are truly indebted to these wonderful people.
