First of all, thank you, to everyone who participated in giveaway no. Madewell. You all gave me some great ideas of what to do this spring. Jenny, I loved your story about Halfdome. Offering to take along the pouch and photograph it at the top was very tempting. Ultimately though, Bethany was the winner of the Madewell pouch. I chose Bethany because after I half jokingly mentioned that a glock would probably fit inside of the bag, she suggested that she actually would put her glock in there. I love it. Congratulations, Bethany, hit me up with your shipping address, and I will get it right out to you.

Up for grabs this week, is a lovely leather bound note book from a collaboration that Rag & Bone did with Timberland last fall. It looks fancy (click on the thumbs above to see just how fancy), and it smells awesome. If you would like a chance to win this notebook, leave a comment about the material that you would like to fill its pages with. Do you draw, write, collect stickers or all of the above?

Good luck!

I love the notebook. It looks like it has so much character.

There is this park along the river where I live that I love to go to in the evenings and I’ve always thought about journaling while I sit and have some alone time.

I am in need of a new journal! This year has been very full, hard, and amazing. We adopted 4 kiddos out of foster care, I taught 5th grade full time and I finished my masters degree! I now have time to reflect… :)

I’ve been wearing timberland’s for many many years and have a collection of rare timberland shoes…I also collect notebooks and because I love timberland so much…this would totally make my notebook AND timberland collection the coolest ever.

I would use it to draw, for pictures and to write my thoughts down and also scribble and pick food out of my teeth with the corners of the pages.

zack has wanted something like this for some time. I haven’t been able to find something cool enough. if I don’t win this, then at least I know where to start looking… again. (besides, he loves timberland) he’ll write secrets and sketch silly pictures like he does, i am sure.

I am helping my sister to plan her wedding and I’m sure this notebook would come in handy! We are trying to make it vintage-y so we are continuously looking for fabulous ideas and DIYs. I would keep the notebook in my purse and pull it out whenever inspiration strikes.

Well, I don’t collect stickers. I do collect keychains though! However, I doubt all my keychains would fit in this fantabulous book! (ya, I made that word up) Anywho, I am writing a book about a woman named Natylie who lives in NYC and while at school I love to jot down ideas I have for my book in cool/original notebooks like yours! I have already filled a bunch and my current one is almost gone! So then if I win this one I will fill it with random thoughts and fragments from my insides!

A decent combination of writing – scribbling – probably a coffee stain or two – crayon marks from my 3 year old – and stick figures as my artistic skills peaked in 2nd grade!

I’d have to say lists. I love lists. lots and lots. some of to-do’s, some for general mind wandering, some grocery. lists.

Love it. I try to always have a notebook with me when I’m out & about to jot down random thoughts and cute/funny/weird things that my three year old son does.

I love photography and this would be the perfect book to collage in! Not only could I collage photos in this book but I could also COLLAGE pictures OF this book (I am into the whole bohemian and vintage theme)! I am into Reagan’s “Hairdress on Fire Blog” so I could even keep photographs of different hairstyles that my sister has learnt from Reagan (and keeps on practicing on me) within this book! Ok.. I think you’ve had enough! THIS BOOK IS BEYOND USEFUL!!

That is a seriously beautiful journal. I don’t need it or even want it (so don’t enter me in the contest) but I did want to comment on the lovely craftsmanship. P.S. I collect unicorn stickers, duh.

I love this journal. I would use it to sketch drawings and write words of all the dreams and ideas that I want to accomplish and hope to achieve.

Okay so since I’ve been married (1 1/3 years) I write one thing about my husband that I figure out about him that day that I love. I also glue in little momentos and pictures to keep it visually appealing, since I don’t have good handwriting and I don’t scrapbook, so there’s no other place to put them. I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s a fun way to remember our inside jokes and different things we’ve done together.
Anyway, I have almost filled the Mickey Mouse one I started with and this one is so much cooler! As in, my husband would not be embarrassed because it’s man-friendly. So I would love to win it, but if someone else needs it more thanks anyway because now I know where to find one for him!

I would write Norm MacDonald style “Notes To Self”… like this

Bearded Lady: Hey, baby. You ever had a chick with a beard before?
Guy: Can’t say that I have there, bearded broad.
Bearded Lady: Well, then, sugar, you haven’t lived.
Guy: Note to self: I don’t want to live

thanks for picking me for the madewell pouch!

because it’s friday and i like wasting time on fridays, i’m entering this contest too…

i would fill this notebook with all my hopes and dreams. er, no. i would actually use it to document my summer 2011 adventures-from kayaking trips to rock climbing, and from backpacking treks to camping in the bwca. i think the leather looks rugged enough to take the beating it would certainly get along the way.

This notebook is beautiful. Here’s my thoughts on what I would use it for… I would put a quote from my kids in it or write down a special memory every day. Yes, everyday. My babies are 3 and 4 so something wonderful, odd and sometimes slightly disturbing is always coming out of their mouths! If I had this notebook I could keep these memories (contained in one place) forever.

Such a lovely book. Definitely a keepsake. I would love to put the things I treasure most on the pages. Make it a treasure full of writings, quotes, pictures, doodles etc that I cherish most. I can see the pages coming alive…

I don’t collect stickers but I do collect other random objects (bus passes, movie ticket stubs, small tokens my friends drunkenly pilfered from parties) to commemorate my years in college. Since next year is my last year, this would be a great place to store them!

May 13th, 2011

I want to write in that beautiful thing!

And are you freaking serious that the A is gonna have TVs? What? Take that east siders!

I would give it to my 5 year old son who is obsessed with the movie Sharkboy and Lavagirl. He has a “dream book” inspired by Sharkboy movie that he draws all of his dreams and fantasies in. He would absolutely love to have this fancy “dream journal.”

My last class for my Bachelor’s degree in English is a summer school class I’m taking in June.

It’s in Paris.

This notebook belongs in Paris.

If I won it I would take it with me and sit on the grass in a Parisian garden and write something really brilliant with an RSVP ballpoint pen.

And then I would try to publish it.

Thanks for hosting an awesome giveaway.

Modest beauty…that’s what I would call this ‘photo’book. I photograph bicycles and am always searching for a napkin or bank envelope to jot down details (when, where, why) I snapped that vintage bicycle photo. I’d love to keep it all in one place…a modest place that holds character.

This would make the perfect Father’s Day gift! My Dad deserves something really nice. He’s had a rough time raising my little brother, especially the last few years. He’s been so patient and worked so hard for us, but he just can’t seem to get through to my brother. I hate seeing him struggle with this so much and I’ve been thinking he deserves something extra special this year. He’s a note taker, and he could use it at work and at home.

Thanks for keeping us entertained and taking the time to host giveaways like this!

My fiance and I are in a long distance relationship. We have a journal that we exchange, each writing in it for a week. It is a way for us to share our random thoughts and feelings that we may not talk about when we get to talk at night. Our journal just ran out of pages and we are needing a new one for the 60 days until we get married.
