We had a great weekend, with all sorts of patriotic activities. Sunday night, Reagan threw a bachelorette party for her friend who is getting married next weekend. I took the opportunity, while she was out, to build and install her new desk in the former guest bedroom.
She didn’t waste any time putting it to use.
Monday, we barbequed on the roof with our friends Joe, Jen and Frank (plus Nikki the dog) and lit sparklers. The sunset was basically the most amazing thing ever. Here are a few images from the festivities.
The shot below was some team work. Reag wrote “Happy,” Jen wrote “Fourth.”
The next photo was all my idea (haha). Frank shot it for us.

These photos are amazing! Any advice for sparkler pictures? I have always wanted to try this technique!
How high was Reagan really off the ground in that toe touch picture? Is there a trampoline under her? Do you have some fancy camera tricks up your sleeve, or is Reagan actually a super hero?
@Mushbelly: Reagan is really as high off of the ground as it appears in the image. There were no camera tricks involved. She did jump off of that little vent thing right below her (notice that it is slightly dented). But I might also add that she was doing the same move off of flat ground earlier. The girl has springs for legs, literally. People would kill to have her calves.
Love the sparkler & sunset photos. Reagan can jump crazy high!!! Woohoo!!! I can’t even get that high when I jump on my trampoline, dangit!
