I saw this gem about 20 feet up on the wall adjacent to the old First Methodist Church on John Street. I saw it on my way to the gym last week. I’m not 100% sure who the artist is. But I have a pretty good idea of who it was. This photo is with the b-berry cam (as if there was any doubt, judging from the super high res).

On a totally unrelated note: When I was downloading the photo above, I saw and remembered the shot below, that I took on Sept. 11, this year. These flags are in front of 7 WTC. I thought it was kind of cool.

This month, I came across a kind of cool article in Details. It was published in the “Know and Tell” section, and titled “Prescription-free Antidepressants.” According to the piece, consuming nuts (one of my favorite foods) and fish supposedly help fight stress, etc.. So what better way to fight depression that doubling up a peanut-avocado roll for dinner? Hahahahah. This place on Maiden Lane, Sushi Ala Kawa, is the only sushi joint I have ordered from that makes these rolls. It has become, probably, one of my top 10 favorite foods (but still pretty far behind NY pizza and pub burgers). The fact that it also keeps me antidepressed is just a bonus.

I was invited for a small lunch event yesterday, put on by one of the buildings I’m advertising units in. I snapped a couple of shots while I was to and from.

I really like the way that the above shot of Trinity Church came out. The grass is even starting to turn green.

In the shot above, I liked the way that those pigeons were just chilling out on the Federal Building.

This door goes into the back of the firehouse one Liberty Street.

I snapped this shot last night when I was leaving work. It is the Woolworth building, all lit up to commemorate Veterans’ Day. I have to say that I am kind of annoyed with blogger.com, these days. It used to automatically size photos when I posted them, even if I was hosting them somewhere else. Now, I have to do all of that manually. I wonder why on earth they would roll out an update that makes things less automated. Doesn’t that seem like regression? Anyway, I have been looking for an excuse to just move everything into a wordpress format for a while. This maybe it. I just have to wait for a night when Reagan is purging the DVR, so she doesn’t complain about me being locked in the office working on the computer all night, hahahaha.
