We were supposed to be in DC today and tomorrow, enjoying the company of our newly engaged friends, and the scent of cherry blossoms. Instead, I will be enjoying this beautiful weather from inside of the building I work in. Not quite the same. On a very positive note, when I visited Piper yesterday, she was standing up in her crib playing, when I arrived. She was in a great mood, and seemed to be back to her normal self. She was not stingy with the smiles or laughing. It really made me happy to see her in such good spirits. I was bummed to have to be awake so early this morning to move the car, since parking was so sparse when I got back from Westchester last night. But I was rewarded with a pretty gorgeous sunrise (above). Lets hope that the positivity can carry over into the rest of the week.

I was out early this morning moving the car, and I really liked the way that morning sun was making these buildings glow. I’m going to try to take full advantage of the sunshine today, since it is supposed to snow/rain for the next two days. Boooooo.

I got out of work pretty early last night and was able to crack the seal on my multiple month run-less streak.  I did almost 7 miles. But to my dismay, my Nike Plus gadget was having all sorts of problems. I went on the website to try to troubleshoot it. I guess that other people had been having a similar issue, the first time that they tried to upload runs, after the new year. So I messed with it, and was able to get it to upload, but then it wasn’t showing up on my profile. So frustrating. Then I went for a quick workout this morning, after moving the car. When I synced it this morning, it worked. So I guess I just lost a run. I shouldn’t have really counted it anyway. It can be sort of like my practice/get back in the saddle, run. When I got back home, the clouds were breaking a little bit. So I went up on the roof and took this picture. I’m not really sure what my deal is, with taking so many sunset and sunrise photos lately. I guess I have just seen a lot of good ones, recently. I’m seriously trying to milk this warmer weather for all it’s worth. Hahahah
