Friday was awesome, because I was able to spend the morning hanging out with Piper and Reagan.
Piper recently got some new overalls, and Reagan was excited to try them out on her. They were especially good during her walking therapy, since Piper’s normal britches tend to fall off.
Reagan got a shot of me doing Piper’s walking therapy with her, too.
Reagan picked up a little hat for Piper, in hopes that it would help her deal better with the bright conditions, when we take her outside. So when we arrived at Piper’s house on Saturday, we slathered her all up with sunscreen and put her little hat on, and started to walk her outside. The walking went great! It was a little bit dark in the halls, because apparently they were testing some new generators, or something. This made the light/dark contrast even more drastic, when we finally got outside. Piper’s reaction was not the best, hehehe.
Poor little thing. She was rubbing her eyes like crazy. Which was really bad, because then they got sunscreen in them. I don’t think that she enjoyed her trip outside today. But she sure looked cute.
This little girl never ceases to amaze me. I’m sure that Reagan will post this video, too, since she is the one who uploaded it. I couldn’t believe my ears, when she called me and told me what Piper was doing today. But I do believe my eyes. So cute. Just in time to go trick-or-treating
It was such a nice day outside yesterday, that I had to take a little stroll for lunch. I headed over to the Brooklyn Banks to watch some kids skate. Sadly, there weren’t very many people skating over there, when I arrived. There are a lot of new installations, since the last time I skated over there.
I saw a new fun box, as well as a volcano spine. I feel like I should get down there soon and skate. It was a beautiful walk though, and I’m glad that I went over.
This was a very emotional race for me. Thank you, New York City, for cheering me through it.Owner: jesqnyLocation: --Activity Type: RunningEvent Type: RaceDistance: 26.45 MileTime: 03:49:30Elevation Gain: 1,738 Feet […]
Apparently I took some corners wide, since the gps is telling me that I some how came up with an extra .21 miles. This was a really fun race. I had a great time in Chicago and I want to do it again.Owner: jesqnyLocation: --Activity Type: RunningEvent Type: RaceDistance: 26.41 MileTime: 03:32:26Elevation Gain: 94 Feet […]
